DISPOSAL OF THE OUTPUT-
NEGOTIATIONS FOR SALE
With the object of effecting a sale on a reasonably profitable basis of the output of crude oil from the Blenheim Oil Well Reclamation Company’s well at Moturoa negotiations have been in progress fbr some time • between the Blenheim Company directors and a number of New. Zealand. business men. The company has in store at the present time about 50,000 gallons of crude oil, and the basis of the negotiations has been the sale by contract of. the company’s production up to five million gallons at 5d a gallon. It is understood that it is proposed to refine the oil and dispose of it to the New Zealand motoring public m the form of second grade petrol. A meeting of shareholders of the company was held in New Plymouth last night to consider the question, but no finality was reached, according, to a statement made 1 after the meeting by the secretary of the company, Mr. b. £• Nielsom
