Prince Edward Island, Canada’s smallest province, which has a land area of 2184 square miles and a popu lation of about 90,000, claims to be the only part of the world which. is not suffering from industrial depression. It is the best place in the world vo-day. There may not be a great deal of money, but there are no bread queues, declared' the island's representative in the Dominion Cabinet, Mr. J. A. MacDonald, Minister without Portfolio. “There is practically no manufacturing there,” he said, “except for purely local needs, and there are no idle workers.” The chief industries of the island are agriculture, silver fox breeding and fishing.
