Plinnuertoh experienced a very heavy thunderstorm, one of the worts known in the district, at 4.20 this morning. It lasted about 20 minutes, half an inch of rain falling during that time. The telephonic and electric tight services were dislocated. • A house occupied by D. G. Finlayson was struck by lightning and considerably damaged, weather boards being torn off, the roof pierced and the building generally knocked about. No one was injured, though the occupants received a. slight chock. . '
