ALFONSO BUYS CHATEAU
INTENTION TO LIVE IN FRANCE.
£144,000 PAID FOR NEW HOUSE.

Paris, July 24. Ex-King Alfonso has decided to live in France. He has bought the Chateau Gouvieux, near Senlis, from Baroness James de Rothschild, for £144,000. The buildings have recently been modernised and stand in extensive grounds. A later message says that Duke Miranda, Alfonio’i grand chamberlain, .denies that Alfonso has purchased an estate in France.
