BUTTER EXPORT BONUS
POOLING BY CREAMERIES LEVY TO PROVIDE CENTRAL FUND. encouragement to exporters.

Recd. 5.5 p.m Ottawa, A plan to provide an export butter bonus through pooling at the principal creameries through Canada was revealed by Mr. Robert Weir, Minister of Agriculture, to-day. All creameries producing 50,Q00 pounds of butter annually will pay one cent a pound into a fund to be paid to exporters to supplement the price received abroad., ■ It is believed a net price of 20 cents from the London market, with the absence of gluts on the eastern Canadian markets, will thus be assured.
