Wellington, Last Night. The weather will be mainly fair .at first but soon becoming unsettled in districts with a -westerly aspect and in the far south, with rain developing. A rather intense westerly depression is advancing over the southern Tasman Sea. Freshening westerlies to northwesterlies are probable, later reaching gale force at places from Cook Strait southward. Seas will generally be smooth to moderate but rising south of Capo Egmont and about Cook and Foveaux Straits. SHIPPING MOVEMENTS.
