SECURITY OF PARIS
MILITARY PREPARATIONS.
MOBILISATION POSSIBILITIES.
London, July 14.
The Paris correspondent of the Manchester Guardian declares that there have recently been symptoms of exceptional military preparations in France. The Ministry of War has circularised firms, instructing them what measures to take in the event of a general mobilisation.
It is stated that the reserve of officers of the Air Force has been called up for special exercises. The Prefect of Police has cieated a department for the security of Paris, its director being M. Guichard, who supervises the measures which can be adopted in the event of mobilisation,
