ESCAPE OF BORSTAL BOYS
THREE YOUTHS STILL AT LARGE.

Invercargill, July 22. Three youths escaped from the Borstal Institute last evening by smashing an iron bar in a window and climbing two high walls by a ladder. . The prisoners, who were wearing white duck suits, were engaged in washing up after the evening meal, and were locked in the dining-room. The warder was absent on duty for half an hour, .and on returning found the youths missing. A search was immediately begun, but they are still at large.
