PING-PONG CONTEST

TUMAHU PLAYS PUNGAREHU. (From Our Own Correspondent.) In spite of very inclement weather a very pleasant evening was' spent on Monday at the Tumahu hall, when a large number of Tumahu . ping-pong players gathered to meet players from Rungafehu in A return inatch. The evening was bitterly cold and the players were not at their best, but very fast and keenly contested matches were the rule.
