CUT IN SOLDIERS’ PENSIONS
CANNOT EXCEED- 3s. A WEEK. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, June 19. While the- 10 per cent, cut is to be applied to returned soldiers’ economic pensions, it is stated on the authority of the Commissioner of Pensions that the maximum reduction cannot exceed 3s. per week, as it applies only to soldiers’ economic pension, and does not touch the economic pension of his wife and children.
