BRIEF WEATHER IMPROVEMENT
By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The weather will be changeable with rain at times, more especially in districts with a westerly aspect, but a brief improvement is probable in most districts. The first of a series of depressions has been crossing the Dominion to-day. Moderate to strong north to west winds are probable later, at times again reaching gale force in Cook and Foveaux Straits. Seas will be rough south of Cape Egmont and offshore Eolith of East Cape; elsewhere moderate.
