Motuipa Oil Fields, Ltd., has issued the following report for the week ended June 6, 1931: “The No. 2 well is drilled to 1900 feet in grey shale; 10-inch casing to 1863 feet.” “Drilling with fish-tail bit in packed mud at 2757 feet,” report Coal, Oil (N.Z.), Ltd., for the week ended on June 6.
