TENNIS COMPETITIONS. (From Our Own Correspondent). At the meeting of householders at AWakino the following school Committee Was elected: Messi's. Jones (chairman), Bryant, Carrington, Herbert And 11. Cummings. The tennis competition for the Paypter Cup Was played at Awakilio last week and resulted in a tie between Mrs. Giay and Miss Hogarth. Miss, Hogarth won the play-off by four points, the score being 50—46. Results of the games played are as follows: —Mrs. Gray (12) 50 v. L. Bartlett (8) 41, M. Bartlett (scr) 50 v.
