PROFIT ON BRITISH TOUR
REMISSION TO AUSTRALIA. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, April 29. The New Zealand .Rugby Union today decided to remit the whole of the £1316 10s 2d due from New South Wales, Victoria and Queensland unions in connection with the British team’s matches.
DECISION REGARDING RULES. AUSTRALIA MAY FOLLOW SUIT. Rec. 8.30 p.m. Sydney, April 29. The Sun newspaper features paragraphs from Wellington relating the New Zealand Rugby Union’s decision to refund £1316 to Australia arising out of the British tour, and the New Zealand union’s decision to fall into line with the English union with regard to the rules. It adds that this means that Australia will probably follow suit.
