WEDDING PREVENTED

DRAMATIC INTERRUPTION. BEST MAN’S OBJECTIONS. A wedding ceremony was stopped dramatically in .the Methodist Church at Ballarat last Wednesday. Air. J. Young, who was best man to his brother. Air. T. Young, who was to be married to Aliss Williams, objected to the service being performed. As the clergyman was about to begin Young declared in a loud voice: “In God’s name and in God’s House, I object.” The church contained a large number of friends of both parties, and they were astounded by the outburst. Air. J. Young then turned and almost collapsed on the church floor. The minister quickly ushered the bride and bridegroom, the bride’s father and the best man into the vestry.
