LONDON PRICES LITTLE LOWER. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. London, April 28. At the wool sales 9369 bales were offered, including 4.579 from New Zealand. About 6034 bales were sold. There was a splendid selection of crossbreds and a small miscellaneous offerinir of .Merinos. There was a crowded attendance, a good tone and keen competition. .Compared with the March closing rates Merinos, Continental sorts, short wools and lambs were unchanged. Yorkshire 60 to 64 combings were par to 5 per cent, lower; crossbreds 5 to 10 per cent, lower; medium and coarse 10 to 15 per cent, lower; and slipes about 10 per cent, lower. Prices for New Zealand greasy crossbreds clips were: Awatata, Sjd (top price), 7]d average. Sherbrooke. 8d and 7{d; Hrtt, 7.{d and 7d.
