Diphtheria is Sweeping north-west Alaska. The veteran airman Joe Crossair made fin epic Hight of 1000 miUs across the frozen wilderness delivering 50f),0Q0 units of anti-toxin. The Presbyterian hospital is overflowing. Dr. Henry Greist, the only physician in this p(U‘t of the frozen world, is working day and night with his wife for the immunisation of 300 natives and 12 whites. Several deaths have already been reported
