NEW ZEALAND CRICKET TOUR

REVISED LIST OF FIXTURES.

TEST MATCH BEGINS JUNE 27.

A copy of the revised list of cricket fixtures for the New Zealand cricket team on its forthcoming tour of England has been received from the New Zealand Cricket Council by the secretary of the Taranaki Cricket Association (Mr. J. Brodie).

The tour opens on May 4 with a oneday match against the • Maori Cricket Club at Worcester Park, and closes with a match agains-t Sir Julien Cahn’s team at Nottingham on September 14 and 15. The only Test match will be played at Lords on June 27, 29 and 30. One match will be played against Scotland at Glasgow. The team will be given very little respite, for it will be kept playing continuously for four and a half months without a break except Sundays and a few brief spells—one of a day after the opening match, one of three days immediately before the Test match against England, one of a day after the Test match, one of a day after the Durham match, one of three days after the Gloucestershire match, one of- a day after the Lancashire match and one of a. day after the game against LevesonGower’s eleven.
