GOLF CLUB’S MEETING. (From Our Own Correspondent.) The annual meeting of the Opunake Golf Club was held on Wednesday evening, about 20 members being preBent Mr. F. Julian presided. The president stated that the year’s showed a debit of about £6, which the small credit previously in hand and the outstanding fees would about cover. To meet some of the liabilities some members had paid portion of their coming tscftsoii’s fe66. was of opinion they should not increase the subscriptions this season nor should the club finance rolf playing balls. Any arrangement to engage a coach should not cdst the elub more than one week’s expenses and the collection df professional coaching fees should be a matter for the coach and not a liability on the chib.
