TRAIN ARRANGEMENTS MADE.

CONTINGENTS FROM TARANAKI.

have been completed 5n connection with the visit to Wellingtori of parties of Girl Guides' from the South Taranaki area who will join the special' train from New Plymouth to-morrow in order that they may be in Wellington on Saturday to take part in the welcome to Lord and Lady Baden-Pow-ell. .

Owing to the action of the Railway Department in granting concessiona to Guides and to the courtesy of the schools in giving the neceeeary leave of absence, a fairly representative number will proceed to Wellington. The train from New Plymouth will pick up the Hawera aud Manaia quota, leaving Hawera at approximately 10.38 a.m. The Opunake Guides will join the trfiin at Eltham. Besides the special conce&sioiK to Guides and Scouts, the Railway Department has granted the ordinary excursion rates to parents and friends of the movement, the ticket® beiiig available for return only oil the special train leaving Wellington On Silndfiy.
