The Shaw, Savill and Albion liner, Mataroa which arrived off New Plymouth yesterday morning from Auckland to load 8500 boxes of butter and 9000 crates of cheese, will berth this morning to commence loading. It is -probable she will leave again to-morrow evening for Wellington, which port she will leave finally for Southampton and London on March 11. TONGARIRO LEAVES ANTWERP. -The New Zealand Shipping Company has received cabled advice that the Tongariro left Antwerp on February 21 with basic slag for discharge at Auckland and New Plymouth. Sho is due at Auckland on April 6 and New Plymouth a few days later. SURREY DELAYED. The Federal Company advises that the Surrey has been delayed at Bluff and is to leave there to-day for London, Avonmouth, Liverpool and Glasgow- via tho Panama Canal.
