AVERAGE SORTS HARDENING.

Rec. 9.25 p.m. Feb. IS. The offerings at the -wool sales today comprised 10,62-1 bales, of which 10,269 sold, and also 285 privately. The market whs again bright. Values for the best descriptions were equal to the late improved rates, while for good and average sorts there was a distinct burdening tendency. Greasy Merino sold up to 23d and Comebacks to 144 d, the latter being the highest price of the season for this description. ;
