WEATHER IMPROVING.
By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night.
The weather will be fair to fine on the west coast of the South Island but elsewhere it w’ill be cold, changeable and at times showery. It will improve to-morrow except in the northern and cast coast districts of the North Island. The recent depression has passed eastwards of the Dominion and an anticyclone is moving on to the South Island. A tropical cyclone centred to the north of New Zealand is likely to affect the far northern and north-eastern districts somewhat. There will be strong southerly winds of gale force in places but later decreasing in southern and Western districts. Seas will be rather rough.
