Mrs. J. Fredric is spending a holiday in the South Island.
Mre. W. Leathani (Auckland) has been the guest of Mrs. Truby King during the week, and. is now staying with Mrs. Cutfield (Tututawa).
Mrs. Percy Thompson (Wellington), Who has been the guest of Miss KirkWood, returned home this Week.
Mrs. Green and family' have returned from a holiday at Dannevirke.
Miss Dorothy Riddle (Nortnanby) is staying with her aunt, Mrs. J. B. Richards.
The Stratfotd brand! of the Women’s Division held its monthly meeting on Tuesday. Those present included Mrs. Phillips (chair), Mrs. W. H. H. Young (hon. secretary), Mrs. S. Pitt (hon. treasurer), Mrs. Cutfield,. Mrs. Savage, Mrs. W. Vickers, Mrs. H. C. Taylor, Mi's. Brunton, Mrs. Shannon, Mrs. Burton, Mrs. Hall, Mrs. Trotter, Mrs., W. E. Williams, Mrs. Thurston, Mrs. Blair, Mrs. T. Marchant, Mrs. Nowell, Miss Fryday, and Miss Wilcox. Arrangements were made to hold a shop day. A social afternoon will be held at Midhirst. The Stratford branch donated £5 to the earthquake relief fund.
Mrs. A. Coleman entertained some friends during the week at afternoon tea and tennis. Those present were Mrs. G. Hall, Mrs. Rutherfurd, Mrs. L. Jardine, Mrs. Yarndley, Mrs. D. Jeffries, Mrs. Cresswell, Mrs. D. Malone, Mrs. R. Kay, Mrs. L. Furrie, Mrs. Dyer, Mrs. Thompson (Wellington), Mrs. Truby King. Mrs. J. Lyons, Airs. H. Kirkwood, Airs. Hunt, Mrs. K. Neal, Miss Kirkwood, Alics M. Wright, Aliss Rita Thompson (Wellington), Aliss Hope Penn, Miss G. North, Aliss B. Alastere and Afire J- Coleman.
Miss Hope Penn was hostess at a tennis party on Wednesday afternoon, When- those present were Mre. Urwin, Mrs. F. Clarke, Mrs. K. Neal, Airs. A. Yarndley, Airs. Harrison, Miss J. Hill, Miss N. Spence, Miss M. Alalone, Miss A. Riera, Miss M. Wright, Miss J. Coleman, Miss G. North and Aliss D. Riddle.
Aliss Alolly Alalone was hostess at a tennis party on Tuesday afterhoou. Those present were Airs. K. Neal, Aliss AL Wright, Miss G. North, Aliss B. Alasters, Airs. J. Coleman, Aliss 0. Alastere, Aliss R. Thompson (Wellington) and Aliss N. Spence.
