The South Taranaki Croquet Association, has decided that no good purpose would be served by the postponement of the annual tournament, as already a very large number 'of entries has, been received, representatives of chibs entering from Wanganui, New Plymouth, Otaki,

Stratford, Manaia, Opunake, Kaponga, Okaklwa and Palea. It was decided to give a donation of part of the proceeds to the fund for earthquake distress. Following the electric light sports meeting on Wednesday the committee and members of the Ladies’ Athletic Club tendered a complimentary dance to the visiting American athletes, Messrs.
