“BATHROOM AFTERNOON.”
BRIDE-TO-BE HONOURED. Airs. T. N. Watt, Opunake, was hostess at a “bathroom afternoon” on Wednesday iri honour of Miss Peggy Bur,ton, whose marriage will take .place early next week. A delicious afterfioon tea was served and an interesting competition was held. Each guest was asked to wear a picture or a drawing representing the title of a book. Airs. J. Gray was the winner and she handed her prize to the guc.st of honour.. Mrs. Watt asked Aliss Burton to accept the gifts, which When opened displayed everything necessary for the bathroom. Airs. Watt.to receive her guests wore 'a frock of navy arid lemon georgette and ,Miss Burton wore a floral georgette gown in shades of pink htid blub, atid cream hat.
