ACCIDENT IN WELLINGTON RACE-

Doidge, aged 19, an engineer, crashed into a picket fence anil was severely injured- He Wss taken, to hospital, where ap X-ray examination showed, the sp.ine to be fractured. The accident occurred during the final lap of the mile open handicap, at a meeting staged by the Port, Nicholson Amateur Road Cycling Club.
