The weather will still be fair to fine but later showers trill develop in the far northern districts. An anti-cyclone is covering New Zealand and the Tasman Sea. An intense cyclone is centred north of Lord Howe Islarid. Winds will be variable at first but moderate west to south-west winds will prevail, later becoming more southerly and freshening.
