BOYS’ AND GIRLS’ DIFFICULTIES ANNOUNCEMENT BY MINISTERJ By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Feb. 4. The Minister’of Education, • recognising that boys and girls are in the present conditions finding unusual difficulty in securing employment on leaving school, has decided as a temporary measure to extend for an additional year the Junior Free Places of those pupils in secondary schools, district higli schools and technical high and technical day schools who failed at the end of 1930 to secure the "senior free place, either by recommendation or by examination.
