Replying to the farmers with regard to tile discrepancy between the prices paid farmers 'by butchers for meat and prices dvfer the counter, the Hon. P. A. de la Purrblle says that it is not practicable tor make an investigation covering the whole of the Domipion. Inquiries are at present being mado at Timaru. He will be-glr.d to give instructions for immediate inquiries whenever a com-plaint received.
