Communists arrested during the rioting are making noisy demonstrations in the cells. One policeman who was injured in the rioting is in a serious condition but the other is improving. ‘Residents consider the Minister of Home Affairs is morally responsible for the disorders and lawlessness owing to his action last year in liberating prematurely a number of convicted. Communists, thereby weakening police authority.
