DEATH OF A PILLION RIDER. LOOSE METAL CAUSES CRASH. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wanganui, Last Night. Bob Asker Barnett, aged 21, a pillion rider on a motor-cycle ridden by Frank Edward Lapham, aged 18, was killed when the machine skidded and crashed on loose metal on St. John’s Hill today. Lapham sustained minor injuries and was admitted to hospital. Barnett was concerned in a motorcycle smash a fortnight ago, when he received minor injuries and was discharged from hospital the following day>
