SOUND SALE AT WANGANUI. SLIGHT ADVANCE IN VALUES. Wanganui, January 28. . At the Wanganui sale to-day a medium entry was offered, farmers not feeling inclined to yard at the prices offering. To-day's sale was a very sound one. The recent rains have been very beneficial, the pastures have now freshened up, and an' abundance of clover is about. The inquiry at to-day’s sale far exceeded the supply and prices generally advanced slightly on recent sales. With the exception of one pen of 2toofih ewes, a total clearance was made in the sheep pens, and vendors expressed themselves as well pleased with the prices realised. Dunedin, January 28. An all-round reduction in prices was. recorded at the Burnside stock sale today. Store Cattle. —About 150 store cattle were offered, the entry including 25
