HOME ROSE BOWL CONTESTS WEST END YET UNDEFEATED. PLAYS NEW; PLYMOUTH IN'FINAL The annual competition among the croquet clubs of New Plymouth for tho rose bowl donated by Dr. ■G. Home was commenced on New Plymouth lawns yesterday. The first round, was played in the morning and the second round in the afternoon. The final will' be played between New Plymouth and West End at the New Plymouth lawns at 10 o’clock this morning. ’. Pukekura Park defeated' Fitzroy and West End defeated Central in the first round.
