WANTS TO SWIM COOK STRAIT
REQUEST FROM AUSTRALIAN. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christchurch, Last Night. Tom Morris, an Australian long-distance swimmer, is anxious to come to the Dominion and attempt to swim Cook Strait. This information was contained in a letter read at a meeting of the Canterbury Head Centre of the Royal Life-Saving Society this evening. Morris asked the centre to help to find him employment but it w§s decided to take no action.
