RAILWAY WORKS STOPPAGE
CISBORNE CABLES MR. FORBES. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Gisborne, Last Night. The Gisborne railway committee met this evening and decided to send the following cable to Mr. Forbes: “Poverty Buy is very dissatisfied with the stoppage of the Gisborne railway. We urgently request you to give this matter immediate attention on your arrival in the Dominion and arrange for yourself and Ministers to investigate the position on the spot.” The cablegram is signed by the Mayor on behalf of-all the local bodies,
