Mr. John W. Dulanty has been appointed High Commissioner for the Irish Free State in London.

The Rey. J. D. McL. Wilson, New Plymouth, has returned home from the hospital, where recently. he underwent a serious operation.

The death has occurred at Ayr, Scotland, of Mrs. Jessie L. Gray, wife of the Rev. H. B. Gray, who for six years was minister of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Auckland. He was also at North-east Valley, Dunedin, for some years, and at Hawera and .Waihi. About two years ago Mr. and Mrs. Gray travelled to Scotland, where they made their home. Mrs. Gray is survived by her husband and five sons. They arc the Rev. J. L. Gray# of India; Dr. H. P. Gray, of New Plymouth; Dr. A. S. Gray, of Thames; and Mr. G. T. Gray, and; Mr. C. M.
