FALLING OFF IN BOOKINGS.

The Atlantic conference, which includes all North Atlantic passenger shipping companies,' decided to reduce first-class ' passages .between Europe and. the United State's and Canada to a minimum. The basic rates are reduced only by about ten ’shillings, but there are heavy reductions bn higher-priced rooms and suites.
Trans-Atlantic first-class travel de-, creased by about 30,000 passages in y 1930. The reductions apply to AngloAustralian passengers via the United States and Canada.
