In this connection N.Z. Perpetual Forests Ltd. can confidently claim to be pioneers by the successful establishment of their softwood timber plantations covering over 200 square miles. New Zealand’s unique position of being able to grow softwood timber three times as fast as any other country v in the Northern Hemisphere stands put as another reason why New Zealand softwood timbers should yield a hia’h rate of return to investors, and should hold f an exceptionally strong position in the world’s markets. 5
