A speaker in the Diet to-day presented a minute regarding the treatment of the number of Opposition deputies who had .been incarcerated in the military prison at Brest Litovsk. , - They were said to have been beaten unconscious and forced to wash floors and corridors until exhausted. They were imprisoned in the darkest cells and received only bread and warm salt water. They were beaten through wet clothing so that the bruises would not show. A motor was set in. motion to drown their cries. Ono mental torture to which they were submitted was a faked execution.
