REPORT OF COMMISSION.
London, Dec. 3.
On the ground that the prospective report on the question of captal punishment is merely an essay in favour of its abolition, the Conservative members of the House of Commons Select Committee have withdrawn. The draft report advocates a five years’ trial of the abolition of the death penalty.
