(British Wireless.) Rec. 5.5 p.m. .Rugby, D?c. 16. Mr. J. H. Thomas, Secretary for the Dominions, questioned in the House of Commons on the appointment of a Commissioner to Australia, said he intended to review the question of the representation of the United Kingdom in Australia and could not make any statement at present. Replying to a question-about the ap-r pointment of Governors to the Australian States,.jMr. Thomas said the Imperial Conference’s conclusions regarding the appointment of Governors did not apply to the Governors of States.
