WEDDING
MORRIS—MEREDITH. Th® wedding was celebrated on December 10 at St. Mary’s Church, New Plymouth, of Clara Helen, eldest daughter of. Mr.’ and Mrs. Guy Meredith, Koi-u, to Charles Edward, second ©on of Mr. and Mrs. F. C. Morris, Omata. Canon E. H. Strbrfg was the minister. . The bride, who was escorted h? her father, wore ah ank'le-lcngth gown, of ivory , ninon, the bodice -of 'which was trimmed with dainty V-shaped frills back and front. Her embroidered tulle veil, which fell' to form a train, was arranged with clusters of orang© blossom, at erich side. She carried a bouquet of roses, ©piraea and maidenhair fern. In attendance as bridesmands were Miss Daisy Meredith, sister of the bride, and Miss Flo Deighton, who wore anklelength frocks of blue and pink crepe de chine respectively, with wide brimmed hats to tone, and carried bouquets in tones of blue and pink.. Mr. Leo Morris, brother of the bridegroom, was best man and Mr. Phil Meredith was groomsman. ’■ ' After the ceremony a reception was held at the Hygienic, Mrs.. Meredith receiving her guests dressed in a black celanese frock trimmed with lemon, with a hat of lemon straw to match. Mrs. Morris, mother of the bridegroom, was dressed in black celanese silk relieved with coffee-coloured trimmings and a black hat. . f- ' The couple later left by car, the bride travelling in an attractive rose tinted celanese frock and a 0 biscuit coloured hat. - ;
