FACTORY BALL AT OKATO
SUCCESSFUL ANNUAL FUNCTION.
' Employees. of tlie -Okato Dairy Company main factory and Puniho' and Leith Road branches anil the- Oxford Road Dairy Company showed'what can be done as the : result of co-operation by the success of. their annual ball in the Hampton Hall, Okato, last ■ night. Profits will go to the Okato Tennis Club. The committee exercised artistic skill ■in the decorating' arid' lighting. Special attention was devoted to the floor. Music was played by Davidson’s orchestra. The masters of ceremanies were Messrs. I. Thomas, E. .-•Stewart, C. ■ Lancaster, L. Wadsworth, J. Hutcheson and R. Thomas. Extras were played by Miss A. Duggan, Messrs. Pearson and Frost. The supper tables were decorated with' red and white streamers and pink flowers. The menu comprised a number of delicacies, including, appropriately enough, cheese dainties. ; The committee took charge of this department, ■■ enabling the ladies who had assisted during the afternoon to enjoy the dance. After supper novelty da lies;; including Monte Carlo and spot waltzes, were decided. The committee.• comprised Messrs. E. Stewart (chairman), T.- Stanfield, R. Thomas, J. Thomas, P/Smith, F. Wads-, worth and W. Day as secretaries.
