RATES FOR ELECTRIC POWER
DECREASE PLANNED IN AUCKLAND IMMEDIATE AID FOR FARMERS By Telegraph,—Press Association. Auckland, Dec. 15.
The Waitemata Power Board decided, in view of the serious decline in': the value of farming products, to review its rates with . a view to giving a supply at the lowest possible price. A meeting of the board will be held next Monday to consider witys and meins. Although some members opposed altering the rates in the middle of the financial year, others insisted that the farmers must be helped at once.
