FARMERS’ TROUBLES.

(To The Editor.) gir.—"Strawbery” passe* sarcastic reniatks re the accumulated profits of the farmer. Well, I quoted the figures of who allowed an annual expendiof £13’30, which I take it included avaftthlng necessary for the efficient working of his farm. Now '‘Strawbery’ -winti to add the average profit (£713) for improvements, and all I can cay is I would very much like to see that farm, which has £25 per cow spent on it for it must be a veritable “Garden •f Eden.” I suppose “Strawbery” will tell us next that the cows must xbe provided with sunshades in the summer ud umbrella* in the winter, to say nothing of footwarmers and axmmstcr earpots in the cowsheds. We may be- < lieve that, when we can’t swallow the fact that it takes £25 per cow to run a farm efficiently. . ■ As suggested by ’’Strawbfery, I took
