‘BOTTOM HAS BEEN REACHED’

I ■;i\V - < ' - BUTTER PROSPECTS BETTER. ADVICE TO DAIRY FACTORIES’;. (By Wire —Special to News.) Auckland, Last Night. Latest cable advices from London have indicated a slightly better position regarding the market for New Zealand butter in the British metropolis, and the following letter supplied by the Auckland office of Joseph Nathan and Co', confirms the reported improvement. “We have received the following letter from our Wellington office as reported by our London principals. We cabled London last night that buyers were active and they replied that the trade generally was more active in England. They firmly believe that the bottom of the market has been reached and that with the advertising scheme which it is hoped will be proceeded with immediately values will steadily improve and the factories will be wiser to consign than to sell meantime. As a matter of fact the stock position of butter is very sound.”
