CATHEDRAL AT BRUGES.—The belfry houses the famous carillon. The tower is 262ft. high, and the carillon which is one of the best in the world, consists of 47 bells. The Wellington Carillon consists of 49 bells, and later will be increased to 53. The facade of the cathedral was built in 1242 A.D.
