An annual payment will be m a de to the board by the Government calculated upon . the basis "of half the capital charged on the board’s power station. When Arapuni is recommissioned the board’s station will ceaee operation and will become a standby plant incorporated with the national system of supply. • When Arapuni failed the board decided to instal an additional 15,D1M) k.w. set, the cost of which will make the total capital sunk in the plant approximately £600,000. .
