SECOND HOME-MADE PLANE
CRASH ON MURIWAI BEACH.
BROTHERS SLIGHTLY INJURED.
By telegraph.—Press Association. : Auckland, Dec. 5. / Two young Aucklanders, Erneet and Arthur Eddenson, who last year constructed the aeroplane which crashed on the first attempt to fly, yesterday attempted to get into the air with a second plane of their own construction. After the plane had taxied along the Muriwai beach and reached a speed of 50 miles an.hour the left wing’ and the machine , waa completely wrecked. The pilot, Ernest, was «neoimciouA for three-quarters of an hour and was considerably bruised. His brother wafl hurled through the side of the fuse; lage and was also bruised. j
